Helping You Make Better Choices
Many pet parents are confused by all the mixed messages and information about pet food. Every day, we come across people who are surprised to learn that the choices they make regarding their pet’s food are based largely on wrong or “misinformation.”
So, how do you know what is healthy and safe? We recommend that you STOP reacting to marketing hype and start learning how to read nutrition labels, so you can make up your own mind. Once you know what to look for and what to avoid, choosing a healthy pet food will be much easier for you.

A Different Shopping Experience
Groovy Cats & Dogs is a place where questions are welcomed so we can learn more about you and your pet’s needs. It is our heartfelt goal to develop a relationship with you and your pet. So come on in and stay a while!
When you visit our store, you’ll find that we carry a limited number of brands. We do not carry every “it’s hot now” brand like big-box stores, just so we can get your business when you walk through our door. We are here to help you:
-
Learn the benefits of proper nutrition;
-
Assist you in making choices;
-
Help make the process easier and less confusing for you

In order to stay up-to-date on what’s happening with the brands we carry, we limit the number of foods we stock in our store so that you can rest assured. If it is on our shelves, it passes our premium quality test. Plus, if you ask us anything about the foods we carry, we want to be able to provide you with an answer. If we don’t know it, we’ll go get it for you.
We have a small, yet very knowledgeable staff of experts. Every team member has their own particular set of expertise. We encourage you to visit when you have a few minutes to hang out and soak up the Groovy experience. If you are in a hurry the first time you visit, you most likely will miss out on the essence of what sets us apart from other retail pet stores. So, come on in, slow down, wander the floor, poke around a little bit and by all means, ask questions!
